Lucia Busso

I am a PhD student at the Department of Philology, Literature, and Linguistics of the University of Pisa.

My research interests are psycholinguistics and cognitive psychology, theoretic and applied linguistics, usage based linguistics models.

I occasionally write for the literary online magazine InsulaEuropea

Short Bio

I was born in Assisi in 1990.

I got my bachelor degree in Modern Literature at the University of Perugia in 2012, with a dissertation on grammaticalization and lexicalization of Italian adverbial phrases, and my master degree in Linguistics at the University of Pisa in 2015, with a dissertation on a syntactic-semantic classification of Italian verbs.

In 2011, I spent my semester abroad on a scholarship at the University of Washington in Seattle (WA), where I entered the Dean’s List for academic excellence.
