I got my Bachelor in Communication Studies at the Università degli Studi di Roma Tre, with a thesis focused on SEO techniques adopted by newsrooms, after having passed more than two years working as a journalist in Sicily.
During my Master in Digital Humanities in Pisa, I went to King's College London for six months and, once came back, I started to collaborate with ETI3 at the SemplicePA project, a search engine for italian administrative acts.
My master thesis was about the application of network analysis techniques to the named-entities extracted from the acts and the UX and UI design of a platform where to explore these relations.
I worked as a trainee in Amsterdam in an open-data service company, working for ONGs and international agencies, like Unesco.
I came back to Italy in July 2018. Since then I am a member of the Laboratory of Computational Linguistics at the University of Pisa. I worked as Research assistant for the project SEM, a chatbot for public administration.
In 2019 I started a PhD at the University for Foreigners of Siena. My reasearch project focuses on the simplification of administrative texts in the interaction bewteen people with language disparity and conversational agents, like chatbots.
